Make photographs following the basic color theory monochromatic or complementary
relationships. You can choose, any location, subject, method of work, etc. For example, you can create and stage a scene, or you can explore the world to find color. You can use color created by pigment ( the color of objects ) or light ( the color of light falling on objects ).
Consider the color or colors you are working with and how they will affect the emotional tone of the image. How can the color work with, or in contrast to the subject of the image? Again, experiment and have fun! This is a very loose prompt, so make it your own!
Due on September 12th: One print (11x17 or 13x19) of your most successful image.
